ENDURO MOUNTAIN BIKE RACING
Mountain Biking's newest racing format! Combine the thrills of Gravity and the fitness of Cross country and you have one of the coolest, most rockin races of the year!
Come and join us for one of the coolest new formats of mountain bike racing!
The Enduro combines the excitement of downhill with the fitness of cross country. The courses are not as
gnarly as a typical downhill course and the climbing is minimal. The best Enduro racers are the
ones with a great combination of bike handling skills and fitness. For Enduro races we will test
our racers on 3-5 ( Varies per event ) different courses on one day of racing. Each course is separate stage. The courses vary in personality and terrain.
Each of the stages will timed from the top to the bottom. The climb up ( Transfer ) in between each stage is
not timed. At the end of the day all stage race times will be combined to determine the winners in each
category. There are plenty of categories for all ability levels.
Enduro racing is fun and exciting for everyone!
We've added an additional race to the Vail Lake Triple Crown Series. There is now 4 races within the Vail lake Triple Crown Series. We are taking the best 3 out of 4 races to determine the Vail Lake Triple Crown series winner. We will have a total of 7 races consisting of the SoCal Enduro Series.
SOCAL ENDURO SERIES
Each category winner for the overall SoCal Enduro Series will win the coveted Champions Jersey.
To be eligible for the SoCal Enduro Series Overall win and the Champions Jersey, racers must have raced in 5 of the 7 races. Racers do not need to compete in the 3rd and final Big Bear race to be eligible for the Overall SoCal Enduro Series Championship, but awards will not be mailed, so come and race the Final!
Each Race in the series will be scored individually and the top 3 in each category will receive awards on race day.
ALL RACES ARE RAIN OR SHINE!
In the case of extreme weather conditions the race director has the final decision as to the actions on race day!
Race director will make all safety decisions regarding cancelations/postponement of races.
(Racing age is the age you are on December 31st)
The SoCal Enduro Series races are a partnership between Team Big Bear Promotions and SoCal Endurance. Both are separate Promotion Companies and therefore have some slight differences when it comes to race organization and operating procedures. Please go to each individual Race promotion website if you have any questions!
